50% Garnacha Blanca, 50% Macabeo hand-harvested from average 40-75 year old vines from ‘Els Molins’ Estate planted on steep, rugged vineyards, called Costers, formed of slate, locally known as Llicorella. Harvested first week September, macerated for 48 hours to obtain aromas present in the skins, followed by gentle pressing and racking, bottled mid-December. Brilliant straw yellow colour with greenish reflections and golden edge. Marked personality of the Macabeo and Priorat Garnacha Blanca with characteristic notes of flower and white fruits, peach, and herbs, like fennel. In the mouth, balsamic and fresh notes stand out, smooth and citrus flavours, silky with volume, tasty, balanced acidity. Persistent finish offering a touch of sweetness that surprises. A fresh and authentic minerality. 15.5%abv. Production: 1,216 bottles.
